An idea I had for a sequel to grim fandango.

I liked it, it's alright good idea but some parts aren't to good 6/10

No offense to the author, but this sequel kind of conflicts with the game and doesn't seem very believable.
1. If you notice the shape of that Mayan structure at the entrance to the 9th Underworld, there isn't really a tunnel. The train simply goes into a portal which takes it to the Ninth Underworld. It's not possible for a demon to go through, because they are spirits of the land.
2. I have a hard time believing any creature is powerful enough to actually stop a train, especially THE Number Nine Train, let alone pull it backwards. It's impossible. We're talking about a train here that is not "alive" (quote from the Gatekeeper: "the LIVING train does... what it does."  but can also reach an insanely high speed (i.e. can travel thousands and thousands of miles in just 4 minutes).
3. Getting to the Ninth Underworld is permanent. There's no way back. Heaven and Hell are supposed to be forever. Once the train went into the portal there would be no way back, ever.
4. (again related to the "living" train) You'd think the train would actually DO something if "attacked". Well, maybe not exactly, but it's no ordinary train. I doubt it actually need repairing too. It certainly can change into a "Hell train" and back again.
5. The odds of the 3 assassins in Puerto Zapato actually finding Domino's remains are... well, let's just say you have a better chance of winning the loterry.
6. The assassins would not have looked for Domino's remains (not that they knew he was there anyway) and I seriously doubt they'd go all the way to the Pearl, just to catch Manny. Nobody in their right mind would ever try to cross a huge ocean on foot.
The sequel itself, seriously, it completely ruins the wonderful ending of the original Grim Fandango.
