Do have any idea how much $300 is to me right now?! But I think eventually it's inevitable that I attempt anything 3D. Pure fear!
Out of sheer curiosity where is this lighting/texture challenge taking place?
I had no feelings about it. It was aloof and licked itself too much, like my cat, Mr. Trotsky. |

I can't say much more than what has already been said, the decayed look and seaweed look absolutly brilliant.

I agree with the comments. Matt did a great job with lighting/texturing. From what I've seen there are about 40 people who are participating in this challenge. I'll post the finished ones. It's fun to see how other people imagine this great scene. Olla, you really should try 3D art, you're very talented. (In my tempting voice: )Animation:Master is only $300.... |

This gives such a great underwater feel. It looks amazing. Reminds me of the underwater style used in Grim Fandango. |

The decay and seaweed are fantastic. I love the underwater lighting - it's just missing some skeletal fishies. But nontheless very cool piece of fanart.
I've not been brave enough to try anything in 3D. This really makes me wish I was.
